This light installation sculpture, created for my solo exhibition Trashy Dreams, explores the dynamics of a toxic relationship. The piece features a female Jesus figure floating above the clouds, carried by a “horny horse” as her partner. The horse pushes through the rain to elevate her into a dreamlike cloudscape, disregarding the rain that accompanies the progression. Its wide-open eyes and extended tongue emphazise its obsessive determination. Floating plastic elements, illuminated to resemble ghostly forms, intensify the surreal atmosphere. The entire scene is framed within a cube-like rectangular structure, evoking the aesthetics of a digital screen or cyberspace.
